Minerva Crafts are running their very popular VIP Craft Club Day were all existing and new members will receive 20% off! This also includes Simplicity patterns which are already 50% off, so if ever there was a time to sign up and stock up, it’s now.
I’ve put together a little wish list (or rather what’s in my basket!) to give you some inspiration!
Simplicity patterns are definitely up there on my list. It’s the perfect time to stock up on anything you have had your eye on. I am a firm believer that patterns are an investment. If you trace them they can be used over and over again, or mixed together to create your own unique creation.
Remember my black and white check suit in the reversible fabric? How about a coat version? This polka dot wool blend looks incredible! It would be so much fun to play about with the contrasting sides. And at £6.99 per metre it’s a bargain!
One item definitely missing from my wardrobe is a classic black blazer. This fabric looks so dreamy, and would make the perfect wardrobe workhorse to last for years. At £20.99 it is a little pricey but with the extra discount today it is definitely making its way to the top of my list.
If ever there was a month to sew some loungewear, January is it! There is a huge variety of colours in the Cotton French Terry but this green is my favourite! (Is anyone really surprised by that?)
Fancy re-creating my White Tulle Indigo dress by Tilly and The Buttons in black? This fabric would be perfect for it! I think this would be more wearable too. I love the style and contrast when wearing something fitted underneath. The pattern is currently out of stock on the Minerva website but you can preorder it and get the whole lot in one go.
I have wanted to try out the Gutermann recycled polyester thread for a while so picked up a few basic colours from Minerva recently. They have a great range of colours in stock.
If you have had your eye on any fabric from Atelier Brunette this is definitely the time to pick it up. I haven’t seen this jacquard from before but it stopped me in my tracks! It is beautiful! They also stock a lot of the other designs from this brand, as well as Cloud 9 Fabrics, Art Gallery Fabrics, Lady McElroy and John Kaldor (including some stunning large scale prints).
That’s it for my round up. I’m sure you will agree you could spends hours looking through Minerva’s beautiful fabrics. They have an amazing selection.
